Brasov International Film Festival & Market – Day 3

Brasov, Romania — September 6, 2014 – For immediate release – The 3rd edition of Brasov International Film Festival & Market (, the most important and renowned nonviolent Film Festival in the world, continued today with the screening of the second film in competition, THE GREAT BEAUTY, with Romanian subtitles, starring Toni Servillo with Carlo Verdone and Sabrina Ferilli. It is directed by Paolo Sorrentino. The screening ended with many applause from a very enthusiastic audience who have appreciated this movie that has won the Oscar for “Best Foreign Language Film” in 2014.

Film Producer from Canada, Elio Dell’Unto and Actress from Brasov, Angie Antal are walking on the red carpet to the screening of the Italian feature film THE GREAT BEAUTY, this year’s Academy Awards winner in the category of “Best Foreign Language Film”.

The Festival this evening was presented by the Film Director Bruno Pischiutta and Actress Ana-Maria Cioflec. Actress Loredana Faith was introduced on the stage along with Claudia Karma who is a student of this year’s International Film Workshops.
Tomorrow night, the audience will watch the third film in competition with Romanian subtitles, ANNA KARENINA, starring Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The film is directed by Joe Wright.
The Festival takes place this year from September 4th to the 14th at the ‘Reduta’ Cultural Center located in the heart of the city of Brasov, Romania.
